Definition of Learning

In the world of education and learning activities which were extremely important, because learning is one of the factors that affect student success as learners. Many experts who explain the meaning of learning. Slameto in Abdul Hadis (2008) says that "Learning is a process of individual effort to obtain a new behavior changes as a whole, as a result of the individual's own experience in individual interactions with the environment."

Muhibbin Shah (2008) says that the definition of learning can be viewed from three perspectives, namely: first, the notion of learning in terms of the amount is filling activities or the development of cognitive abilities with the facts as much as possible. Thus, learning in this case in light of how many students mastered the material. Second, the notion of learning in terms of institutional is a process of validation or endorsement of student mastery of material that he has learned. Third, the notion of learning in terms of quality is the process of obtaining the meanings and understandings and ways of interpreting the world around the students. Learning in this sense power is focused on achieving a quality of thought and action to solve problems that are being and will face students.

Wasty Soemanto (2006:104) says: Learning is a basic process of development of human life. By learning, humans make qualitative changes so that the individual develops his or her behavior. All activities and achievements of human life is nothing but the result of learning. We also live by live and work according to what we have learned. Learning is not just experience. Learning is a process, not an outcome. Because of that learning takes place actively and integrated by using various forms of action to achieve a goal.

Based on various opinions of the experts above, there are key points contained in the sense of learning. Basic things such as:

1) That study was a difference

2) That the change is essentially the acquisition of new skills

3) That the change occurred because the business

4) That learning is a process
